Seth Bittner is a graduate of Lock Haven University where he graduated with a BS in Therapeutic Recreation. Upon graduation, he received his National Certification in Recreational Therapy as a NCTRS. He then began working for a 40 bed brain injury unit as the Recreation Therapist. It is there where he met his wife Dawn, who sparked his interest in the Martial Arts. From his very first class, he knew that teaching was in his future and began working towards that goal, becoming part of the Leadership Team at Action Karate New Britain. In July 2003 Seth and Dawn opened Action Karate in Nazareth. He received his First Degree Black Belt while teaching, and was awarded his Sr. 2nd Degree Black Belt in November 2005. Seth received his 3rd degree Black Belt in December 2008. |

Dawn is a 3rd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and a certified Rape Aggression Defense Systems instructor. Mr & Mrs Bittner have two children, ages 16 and 3. Her passion for the martial arts was sparked by an interest in women's self defense. She plays an active role in educating the women and children in her community. Dawn's objective as a RAD systems instructor is: "To develop and enhance the options of self defense, so they may become viable considerations to the woman who is attacked." -Lawrence N. Ms. Jess Graduated from Emmaus High School in 1991, and attended Lehigh County Community College for Business Management. In 1993 she got a job at Star Pontiac in charge of Accounts Receivable. While working there she met her husband Mark. In 1996 Ms. Jess started to work as a surgery Tech. at East Penn Vet. In October 1997, her and Mark were married, and had their daughter in May 1999. Then in December of 2003, their son Brady was born. Ms. Jess started karate in 2004, because her daughter looked like she was having fun in her class. She earned her first degree black belt in June 2007 and her second degree black belt in October 2009. Ms. Jess, along with her husband, daughter and son, continue to train and continue to learn. |

Bill Kronstadt is a 2nd Degree Black Belt who has been training at Action Karate since they opened their doors in the Nazareth area in 2003. Originally starting in the Martial Arts for fitness, he began taking more of an active role in teaching and later earning his Instructor Certification. Mr. Kronstadt has an MBA in Finance and continues his training in the Martial Arts with hopes of running another Action Karate Studios in the future. |

Heather Kronstadt currently attends Nazareth Area High School. She started taking classes at Action Karate at the age of 11 and has been training ever since. She received her Junior Black Belt in June of 2006 at the age of 14 and her First Degree Black Belt two and a half years later. Heather is very involved at Action Karate. She is an instructor, a member of the Senior Demo Team, and she also continues to train toward her second degree. Her father also trains alongside her. Heather hopes to one day open her own karate school of the Action Karate chain. |

Jacquie Itsines is currently a student at Nazareth Area High School working towards obtaining a career as a journalist. Her involvement in karate originated from the need to stay in shape for soccer during the off season. She joined Action Karate at age ten and her love for the martial arts soon took over. Jacquie received her Junior Black Belt in June 2006, and her First Degree Black Belt in December 2008. She is an instructor, a Demo Team captain, and a member of Team Action - a national competition team. Jacquie very much enjoys being at the karate studio and plans to continue training for as long as possible. |
